Diane and Jacob were married on a romantic rainy day at the beautiful Knowlton Mansion. What strikes me most about this couple is their commitment to making each other smile and feel totally safe and loved. When Diane arrived you could see the pure joy flowing through her. She was so ready for this day! After stepping into her beautiful lace gown with assistance from her mother and grandmother, she read a thoughtful note from her husband to be. There was laughter and a tears as the true emotion of the day set in.
Jacob stepped out into the mist and under the cover of an aged tree, Diane and Jacob saw each other for the first time. When he turned around, Jacob couldn’t help but get flustered and excited. Diane was absolutely gorgeous. They embraced and couldn’t stop laughing and smiling. This was the day they had waited for. After enjoying some time together prior to their ceremony the couple was ready to make it official! Jacob said a quick prayer with his groomsmen and as Diane walked down the aisle escorted by her father, it was obvious just how ready they both were for this moment. They shared their vows to each other and stepped into married life with so much enthusiasm.
From there it was time to party! Conroy Catering put on a beautiful event and the entire room was ready to party! The dance floor was hopping! Jacob and Diane stole away for a few minutes to the wine cellar. They talked excitedly about the day and held each other close before doing a small wine tasting! Their guests danced the night away and made s’mores before heading outside to usher them into married life with a grand sparkler exit! The entire day was filled with so much love! Wishing Diane and Jacob all of the love and happiness as they enter this new chapter together! Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Wassenar!
