Philadelphia Wedding Day at the Downtown Club by Cescaphe | The Lutkewittes

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.! Sara and Brian are married. In June, they planned a gorgeous Downtown Club by Cescaphe wedding in Philadelphia and it was absolutely stunning! Their entire day was so elegant and classic, featuring some incredible moments around the city. I’m so excited to be sharing it all with you today!

Early on in the day, Sara had her “something blue crew” join her at the Hotel Monaco, a Philadelphia staple. Her beautiful bridesmaids wore mismatched blue and white dresses and I absolutely loved them all. I also thought that her bridesmaids being her “something blue” was such a super fun twist on the tradition. Each girl’s dress was so flattering and looked amazing together! Once everyone was ready and Sara was in her gorgeous classic off-the-shoulder wedding gown, we took portraits near Signers Garden in the city. This is one of my favorite spots for wedding day portraits in Philadelphia!

Afterwards, we all headed to Sara and Brian’s church where they wanted to host their traditional wedding ceremony. Old St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is actually the same church that William Penn attended, which was super cool. It was like standing in the middle of history while Sara and Brian’s own history was being written, too! Their ceremony was simple and beautiful, the perfect start to their new chapter.

Following their ceremony, Sara and Brian just couldn’t stop grinning – which is how every wedding day should be! Together with their wedding party, we took the time to wander around some of my favorite historic spots in Philadelphia. The Merchants Exchange, and 18th century gardens were some of the best parts. Sara and Brian’s wedding portraits feel so classic and timeless. I can’t wait to see how they display them!

The newlyweds hosted their guests at the always beautiful Downtown Club by Cescaphe for their reception the rest of the night. It was a really fun night, filled with great speeches, lots of dancing, and more blue and white details. I loved watching Sara and Brian celebrate with their family and friends all night long. It’s clear that they’re surrounded by so much support and love.

Something I love about weddings in the heart of Philadelphia is that they are set amidst the historic charm and modern allure of the city. The whole day unfolds in a setting that so naturally blends the old and the new. Sara’s wedding style truly embraced those two ideas with a classic and elegant twist.

Congratulations again, Sara and Brian! Your beautiful wedding day feels so inspired by the gorgeous city we live in. I hope that it was the wedding day you always dreamed of – and I wish you many happy years together!
