Springtime Lake House Inn Wedding
Ashlee and Michael kept a beautiful fine art style to their entire Lake House Inn wedding day. When I arrived at Ashlee’s room to photograph the girls preparing and their details, I couldn’t stop smiling! Ashlee and Michael’s color palette featured a beautiful robin’s egg blue and lots of pink accents that felt so timeless and romantic. It was truly like a breath of fresh spring air! After Ashlee was ready, she and Michael met for a first look before their ceremony in the gardens of the Lake House Inn.
Ashlee and Michael were so happy to see each other and that energy definitely flowed into their portraits around the grounds at the Lake House Inn. I absolutely love the old stone and architecture of this beautiful venue. It really brought an elegance to their wedding portraits. I love this spot run by one of my favorite caterers, JAM Catering. If you’re dreaming of an elegant wedding day in Pennsylvania, definitely spend some time enjoying Ashlee and Michael’s portraits!
I just have to say: Bloom Flower Co killed it with this wedding day! I’m still absolutely in love with the floral installations they had in lieu of an altar in the gardens. The pink, blue, and white flowers were a great backdrop for Ashlee and Michael’s intimate ceremony. The same colors were echoed in Ashlee’s bouquet and the decor later on for their reception. Seriously beautiful flowers throughout this entire springtime Lake House Inn wedding!!
Ashlee and Michael ended the day with their gorgeous reception – I adore all of the light blue accents they chose to put throughout their reception decor. I think it looked so elegant! While the day looked beautiful, it was also a lot of fun. Their dance floor was full the entire night! Despite that, I was able to sneak Ashlee and Michael out for some final portraits at the golden hour – and it was SOOO worth it! They wound up being some of my favorite photos of the whole day!
Golden hour is that magical time just before sunset when the light is soft, warm, and incredibly flattering—perfect for capturing your wedding day in the most beautiful way. Giving me just 5 minutes during this time can create stunning, romantic portraits that you’ll cherish forever. The golden light enhances the natural beauty of your surroundings and adds a glow to your skin, making the photos feel timeless and ethereal.
