Matt and Sally had one of the dreamiest weddings I have ever attended in the gorgeous hillside of California’s wine country. They were married at the family owned and operated, Vine Hill House in Sebastopol, CA. The modest home on property overlooked a beautiful garden and grove of trees where the day took place. And beyond those spaces were rows upon rows on grape vines as far as the eye could see. There was a sense of calm and this was the perfect place for Matt and Sally to exchange their vows and step into married life surrounded by their family and friends.
I wanted to share with you in Matt’s own words how he proposed – it’s so perfect! “I planned a getaway the weekend after we ran the Napa marathon. We woke up Saturday morning and I told Sally to pack a bag. Without telling her where we were going, I drove her to Santa Cruz — for brunch and some spa time. I told her to get back into the car — and we kept driving down the California coast until we got to the Airbnb. It was an Airstream trailer, that Sally describes as “Pinterest perfect”, parked along the ocean front. Later that night, over Thai food and in our PJs, I told her I had one last surprise — and asked her to marry me. “
How sweet is that?! These two are completely made for each other. Enjoy this glimpse into their wedding day!
