Birds sang their sweet summer songs as the warm honey light dripped through the trees casting beautiful golden hues onto the open field. The floral scent of lavender hung in the air and there was a faint hum from the bees who were busy at work among the flower field. He grabbed her hand and led her down the aromatic rows, pulling her in close and whispering secrets and promises of their future. As they made their way down toward the lake, the sun continued to drop lower behind the trees. Hands held tightly, fingers interlaced, they walked on toward their future.
