Katie and Eric are married! They planned a super classic fall wedding at Aldie Mansion, one of my favorite venues (by Jeffrey Miller Catering). Filled with gorgeous fall colors, a dreamy ceremony, and classic accents at the reception, Katie and Eric’s wedding day was truly a dream come true. I loved getting to explore Aldie Mansion with a new couple and seeing how their wedding day came to life!
Fall Wedding at Aldie Mansion
Katie and Eric wanted to do a first look before their ceremony. They met in the courtyard at the Aldie Mansion, which was just perfect. With classic brick walls and beautiful greenery everywhere you look, it was a quiet spot for them to enjoy the start of their wedding day together. Eric couldn’t take his eyes off Katie once they met. She looked amazing in a classic wedding gown with a sparkly belt. Paired with her elegant updo, she looked incredible!
Their ceremony took place right on the property. What was special about their ceremony is that it was not the Aldie Mansion’s typical setup. Instead, at Katie and Eric’s ceremony, the light was setting behind them which gave the entire ceremony a super dreamy look. It was amazing and a great decision on the venue’s behalf! I’m obsessed with how magical their ceremony photos look!!
Afterwards, Katie and Eric had the chance to make a toast for their guests at the cocktail hour. They gave their speech from the balcony – which was super fun – and it was just so special for everyone attending. Following their cocktail hour, the reception began.
Katie and Eric planned seriously beautiful details for their reception including a beautiful seating chart on a gold-framed mirror with wax seals holding the charts up. It might be one of my favorite pieces from the evening. Their ceremony florals were also moved inside to the reception and placed by their sweetheart table. I LOVE reusing flowers like this! Between all the festivities, I snuck Katie and Eric out for some nighttime portraits on the mansion’s property. They had some fun twinkling lights in the trees and they made for some seriously romantic photos to end their fall wedding day!
