Welcome to the world, Luca! I adored working with this sweet family to capture their studio newborn photos in Media PA. These three were easily the sweetest little family and Carley and Matt have fallen so easily into their new roles as Mom and Dad. Carley decided a studio session would be ideal for their family – being able to show up and know that everything was ready to go for their new baby’s portraits.

Studio Newborn Photos in Media PA
Luca has a jungle themed nursery so we kept their color palette neutral to mix well with his nursery design. I love that Carley and Matt were already thinking about where they’d want to display their portraits after our session. While we mostly stayed with neutrals, Carley wore a gorgeous yellow and blue floral dress. It was the perfect pop of color among all of the softer choices. I actually had some other blue accents in the studio and we chose a few sage green blankets for some of Luca’s solo portraits. I think it was the perfect amount of color and will look amazing in his nursery!
These three are seriously so sweet together. Carley and Matt have a beautiful relationship – in fact, Carley told me that she loves how Matt surprises her and makes little moments together so special. I loved watching them with their new baby boy. They’re over the moon and just looked so content to snuggle up with him in the studio. Some of my favorite portraits of them are the ones of the three of them on the couch – it really felt like they could be at home enjoying an afternoon together!
Congratulations, Carley and Matt! Luca is absolutely adorable and so perfect. I’m so excited for your journey ahead of you as parents. It’s going to be a blast! Thank you for asking me to document this new chapter – and I hope that you enjoy your portraits around your home for years to come, too.
