When I think of Selene and Luke’s Cypress House wedding day, a few words come to mind: flowers, fashion, and fun. Selene and Luke have such a cool vibe as a couple and Selene was absolutely a dream to work with as a SJP Bride.
Fun Wedding Day at The Cypress House
From the moment that Selene and Luke began to plan their wedding day, they knew that they wanted the entire day to feel like a big celebration for their family and friends. Selene is from California and Luke is from here, in Pennsylvania – but they both love the outdoors. Finding the perfect venue that captured the outdoor aesthetic they like so much was of the utmost importance. Cypress House delivered. They were able to host both their ceremony and reception outdoors (I love a good tented reception!). One of my favorite parts of their wedding day were the flowers. Selene and Luke had pink monochromatic flowers everywhere: her bouquet, around their ceremony arbor, their centerpieces, and around the tent. It was stunning. Color blocking is going to be a huge thing in 2023 and I can’t say I’m mad about it at all!
Selene and Luke envisioned a big party with their loved ones after the ceremony. They definitely knew how to get that started right! During cocktail hour, their guests were able to enjoy a mariachi band before they were seated for dinner. After their toasts, the dance floor opened… and the disco balls got working! Yes – disco balls!! I loved how playful they made the reception. Later in the evening, they had a great potato inspired snack bar and an EDM dance party with glowsticks. It was incredible!
To Selene and Luke – thank you for asking me to be with you on your wedding day. It was such a dreamy day and I’ll be thinking about it for years to come. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!!
