Charlotte and Sean are married! They hosted the most elegant spring Appleford Estate wedding in Villanova, PA. The day was filled with beautiful pastel pink and white details – Charlotte and Sean truly created an incredible celebration and I felt honored to be a part of it. Charlotte and Sean’s wedding day focused on what mattered most to them – and I love when couples really take the time to think about what’s important to them and bring that to their wedding day.
Spring Wedding in Pennsylvania
Charlotte prepared for the wedding day with her bridesmaids at her home. While brides can prepare in so many places on the morning of their wedding, there’s something really special about seeing a bride prepare at home. It just makes everything so calm. The backyard was perfect for portraits of Charlotte with her bridesmaids in matching robes. Charlotte had a first look with her bridesmaids before more portraits in the yard! Such a beautiful spot for the morning to begin. Charlotte and Sean opted to forgo a first look and met at the front of the church, St. Dorothy’s in Drexel Hall. Their ceremony was beautiful and an absolutely gorgeous celebration of their relationship, faith, and love.
Appleford Estate Wedding
Following their ceremony we grabbed a few portraits of them outside of the church and continued on to their reception space- a historic home in Villanova called Appleford Estate. This Appleford Estate wedding is incredible! Their wedding party joined them and it might have been one of my favorite parts of the day. They were all so joyful and happy for Charlotte and Sean. Appleford Estate has some truly beautiful gardens, and they wound up being the perfect place for Charlotte and Sean to wander for their portraits, too.
After their portraits, we headed back towards the estate house for their celebration. They had a tented wedding reception with the most STUNNING florals and tablescapes. Charlotte and Sean chose a gold, white, and blush palette – it looked amazing and just perfect for a spring wedding. They even had greenery winding up the poles in the tent. It was like the garden came to life in their tent. Charlotte and Sean celebrated the evening away with their loved ones. During the speeches, one of the funniest moments of the night happened. Sean’s friends sang “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” to him during their speech. It was hilarious!
Congratulations, Charlotte and Sean on your Appleford Estate wedding. I’m so happy for you both and can’t wait for what’s ahead of you. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your elegant spring wedding in the gardens of Villanova, PA!
