When I think of Katelyn and Dan’s Bellevue Hall wedding in Wilmington, DE, the first two words that come to mind are elegant and romantic. Katelyn and Dan planned a truly gorgeous day at one of my favorite Delaware venues. I’m so happy I was able to be a part of their special day. Katelyn and Dan focused on making their day about what was most special to them: the start of their marriage. Every decision they made reinforced what was important to them and it was beautiful to witness.
Wilmington DE Wedding Day
Katelyn and Dan’s invitation suite and details were absolutely gorgeous! I loved creating flat lays to feature their pastel details – especially their watercolor invitation suite. It was stunning! Since Katelyn and Dan decided not to have a bridal party, Katelyn prepared for the wedding with her mother in the beautiful teal room at Bellevue Hall. It’s one of my favorite spots in the venue – the colors are so rich!
Katelyn’s wedding gown was beautiful and she carried a pale pink and white bouquet. When she was all ready, she met her father for a first look outside on the patio before meeting Dan for one next. I loved Katelyn and Dan’s first look because they made time to do a private vow exchange! I think it’s so sweet when couples do that and plan a quiet moment together to let their vows sink in.
Bellevue Hall Wedding Day
The property at Bellevue Hall was all in bloom on the day of Katelyn and Dan’s wedding day. It was absolutely stunning and since they were holding their ceremony in the garden gazebo, everything looked extra beautiful! Their ceremony was perfect and intimate, really focusing on their love and relationship.
When their ceremony was over, I captured Katelyn and Dan’s first look at their tented wedding reception! They had a chance to check out all of the team’s hard work – their smiles said it all! The newlyweds chose a pale blue color palette, accented with blush and white flowers. Against the white tent, everything looked so elegant!
During the reception, I snuck Katelyn and Dan out onto the lawn at Bellevue Hall. We had the most gorgeous sunset – I couldn’t miss it! Those portraits wound up being some of my favorites from the entire day. They just look so happy and in love (and who doesn’t like glowy light?!). Congratulations, Katelyn and Dan. I wish you nothing but love and happiness in this next chapter of your life!
