Julie, Phil, and their daughter Millie are expecting their next sweet baby girl, Maeve! To celebrate this special time for their family, we planned maternity photos in Philadelphia at one of my favorite spots: Longwood Gardens! Their summer session was a joy to photograph and I can’t wait to see them once Maeve has arrived for her newborn session since they signed on for my Maternity & Newborn plan! Until then, I’m so excited to be sharing this beautiful summer Longwood Gardens maternity session.
Maternity Photos in Philadelphia
For their session, Julie chose a beautiful pale pink dress with a slight boho feel from the client closet. We pulled a romper from the client closet for Millie that coordinated perfectly. In fact, I absolutely loved all of the pastel colors they chose to include in their outfits. The client wardrobe that I offer has been hand selected because I know the pieces will photograph beautifully and fit well on pre and postpartum mamas. The calm colors looked amazing against the greenery and flowers throughout Longwood Gardens!
One of the things I loved most about this session was how much we got to focus on the soon to be big sister, Millie. Maternity sessions are not only a time to celebrate welcoming a new member of the family but they really are a time to embrace the family unit you have made up to that point as well.
Millie was incredible at the session and we went at her pace, as I always do with families with little ones. She was happy to explore and spend some quality time with mom and dad. Millie was going from being an only child to big sister and celebrating that is also important. These images of Millie make my heart so happy and I know she’s going to be a wonderful big sister!
